Check out the premiere of Blake Lewis’ new video for his next single, “Heartbreak on Vinyl” via New York Post’s Popwrap.

The video doesn’t feature Blake in a single frame. Instead, it works as an homage to 80’s and 90’s films. Can you pick out your favorites? There’s a slew of John Hughes’ films, Spinal Tap and High Fidelity…

And did I mention that I love this throwback to 80’s dance and new wave music. It’s one of my favorite tunes released by an Idol to date. No lie.
