TNT knows drama. But they also know when to let a drama go.
The network has opted to cancel King & Maxwell after one season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The crime drama, starring Jon Tenney and Rebecca Romijn, premiered in June to a solid viewership of 3.5 million viewers. But while the series ultimately managed to average 3.1 million total viewers over the course of its 10-episode season, the network wasn’t satisfied with the overall ratings.
This leaves Franklin & Bash as the only remaining show whose fate remains undecided, as virtually every other TNT summer series has received a renewal.
