Paris Bennett gives birth to a baby girl

Paris Bennett’s a momma!

The Season 5 “American Idol” reject gave birth to a bouncing baby girl named Egypt this morning. She weighed in at a svelte 5 pounds, 15 ounces.

“I’m so excited to finally see my little angel,” Paris said in a news release. “Man, does she have lungs on her. I guess she’s gearing up to be the next American Idol.”

The special delivery comes just days before “A Royal Christmas,” Paris’ holiday album, hits stores. Look for it Oct. 14.
