Add to myYahoo!Preview Justin Bieber – Believe – MP3 Stream | Source: Rickey.org | The X Factor | The Voice | American Idol
Previews of tracks from Justin Bieber‘s sophomore album, Believe, are now available for your listening pleasure! The album which features collaborations with Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, Drake and more is set for release June 19th. It also features production form Darkchld, Diplo, Max Martin, and others.
I have to say that I am impressed by the fact that Bieber is attempting to not stray way from the urban pop format of lead single “Boyfriend.” Of course you have the electro-inspired dance craze tracks like “Beauty and the Beat,” and there are some throwback-esque tracks like “Die in Your Arms” Bieber has definitely experimented with the new style of dubstep and urban electro similar to Usher’s “Climax”, as multiple songs sound as such.

If you didn’t know, Lauren Alaina is doing pretty well in her post-idol career. The season 10 runner-up has announced her new single at the CMA fest and it has been officially confirmed that her collaboration with Steven Tyler and his band Aerosmith will appear on their new album.
The Carrie Underwood-written “18 inches” will serve as Alaina’s third single from her debut album, Wildflower, as she announced the news and performed the song as a part of an acoustic set at the CMA fest. Also, ABC News Radio has confirmed that Alaina’s duet with her Idol judge Steven Tyler’s band will appear on Aerosmith’s new album, Music from Another Dimension. Alaina contributed backing vocals to a track entitled “Oh Yeah!” The album is due August 28th and it is rumors that Underwood will also appear on the album.

Chris Rene of The X Factor has a new single: “Trouble”.
Here’s a video of Chris debuting the song to 92Q Canton. Chris needs to improve his guitar playing, but I like this. So catchy… “Trouble, trouble!”
What do you guys think?

Add to myYahoo! The Legend of Korra – Episode 9 – Video Recap – Out of the Past | Source: Rickey.org | The X Factor | The Voice | American Idol
Here’s my review of The Legend of Korra Episode 9: “Out of the Past”.
This is my favorite episode of the season for the simple reason that we got treated to scenes of Avatar Aang, Sokka and Toph as adults. Amazing. The flashbacks in this episode make a strong argument that the there are a lot of stories left for the original characters in the franchise.
I love the new characters in the series, but Aang totally stole the show and just made me want for more. I hope there’s a petition somewhere to bring him back in his own show. “The Legends of Republic City” perhaps?

After defeating Korra last episode, Tarrlock imprisons her in a box at a safehouse in a remote snowy location.
When he comes back to Republic City, he makes up a story that the Equalists attacked him and Korra — and that they have captured Korra.
“We have to find the Avatar,” he tells Tenzin and the police.
Beifong hears the news about Korra’s capture on the radio and wears her uniform again even if she’s still recovering from her injuries. She frees Asami, Mako and Bolin from prison. This happens while Bolin is peeing, which leads to a couple of pee jokes at his expense.
Meanwhile, Korra takes the advice of Tenzin from last episode and meditates on her visions of Avatar Aang. It works! Her visions cue the flashback of Aang as an adult dealing with a very powerful criminal named Yakone.
Toph still called Aang “twinkle toes” even if he’s already 40. (Wow. The age reference blew my mind! I can’t believe that I’m seeing Aang at 40! He was just a kid a few years ago.)
Team Avatar come up with a plan to save Korra. Tenzin suggests they use Naga to track her, but Naga has gone missing as well. They decide to look for tunnels as the Equalists are most likely hiding underground. Aside from saving Korra, Beifong has the added incentive of freeing her metalbenders who were captured a couple of episodes ago.
The team successfully find the Equalist hideout. Mako is increasingly very eager to find Korra which makes Asami jealous. Bolin doesn’t help when he revealed that Mako and Korra kissed after a probending match. Asami already knows that Korra has feelings for Mako (from last episode), so seeing Mako desperate to find Korra is making her uneasy.
They free the metalbenders — but not with some bad news. Amon had already taken their bending away. They look for Korra, but the Equalists tell them that she isn’t there. They also reveal that Tarrlock had been lying about the Equalists attacking him the other night.
The team quickly realize that Tarrlock has Korra. They head back to the surface eluding that guy with electric sticks.
Back in her box prison, Korra meditates some more…
Yakone during his trial is accused of being a bloodbender who can use his powers at will without the aid of a full moon.
“Councilman” Sokka is the judge! He delivers a guilty verdict.
Yakone however is much too powerful, and after the verdict, he immobilizes everyone in the court room with his bloodbending, including Avatar Aang.
In Republic City, Team Avatar look for Tarrlock. When they confront him, he denies all their charges, but then his secretary squeals on him!
“Why did you wait until now to tell?” asks Beifong.
“I was terrified to tell because… because Tarrlock is a bloodbender! He bloodbent Avatar Korra!” the secretary screams.
Cornered, Tarrlock immobilizes everyone in the council room with his bloodbending and escapes.
Team Avatar wake up after a while and look for Tarrlock.
Korra is still meditating…
Yakone escapes and somehow Aang is able to recover from the bloodbend and chases after him. (Oh how I missed him!)
Yakone tries to bloodbend Aang with intentions to kill him, but before he could break Aang’s neck, Aang goes into his Avatar state. Aang traps Yakone down to the ground. Aang removes his bending.
The Legend of Korra – Episode 9 – Video RecapKorra wakes up just as Tarrlock arrives in the safehouse.
“You are Yakone’s son,” she says.
Tarrlock says that his plan almost worked: to rule Republic City from the inside, instead of conquer it like his father. He says that he will escape and start a new life with Korra as his hostage.
As he walks up the stairs, he is greeted by Amon and his men. Tarrlock bloodbends and immobilizes them — but Amon is immune! Amon defeats Tarrlock and quickly removes his bending!
Amon orders his men to get Korra and tells them not to underestimate her.
“Electrocute the box before you open it,” he says.
They electrocute the box — but Korra is able to avoid it by hanging from a cloth. She defeats the men and escapes as soon as they open it.
Korra sees Amon taking Tarrlock into a van as she exits the safehouse.
She smartly runs away from him instead of engaging. She gets knocked out when she hits a tree, but Naga finds her.
“Naga, you came looking for me, good girl,” she says.
Back at Republic City, Team Avatar are scanning the city and locate Naga and Korra.
Beifong ask her questions about Tarrlock, but Mako quickly heads for Korra.
“Give her some space!” he says, then carries Korra to the bison as Asami looks on. “I was so worried. Are you alright?”
“I’m fine. I’m glad you’re here,” says Korra.
“You’re safe now.”
