The Voice just finished its second season, and by the looks of things, some major changes are under way for NBC’s hit show. Rickey.org previously reported that the executive producers were worried about the fate of the show following Jermaine Paul‘s win.

Now, the show is looking to make some tweaks to the format — including adding the spinning chairs into the battle rounds. According to Deadline, show chairman Bob Greenblatt said in a conference call today, May 13, 2012, that ?people love the spinning chairs, and we will put them into the battle rounds this coming season.”

He didn’t give any more specifics about exactly how this would fit into the rounds. Also, according to The Hollywood Reporter, there may be a new slew of judges for 2013′s spring season! Other tweaks include extending the blind auditions and getting to the live shows quicker. Greenblatt says on the current coaches: ”Two commitments a year is more than they expected.”

Expect the next season of The Voice to hit your TV screen this fall.

NBC announced its new Fall schedule today. Three hours of The Voice a week, right off the bat, with its Tuesday episode is scheduled for 8 pm. Unless FOX mixes things up, The Voice will compete against Glee.Smash will once again be held until mid-season, which is bad news for fans who have a long wait ahead of them for the season 2 premiere.The Voice will run in the Fall and Spring (with a different set of coaches). Also there are some "tweaks" being introduced for the fall.See the schedule inside.ETA Deadline is reporting that Glee will move to Thursday's after X FactorETAA: The Sing Off has been cancelled. Sadz.

Mark Salling of Glee tweeted a picture of his newly shaved head, ridding him of his out of control mohawk that was starting to look like a squirrel. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t consider tan lines.
