Tonight's episode is going to be an extravaganza. In fact, I imagine it is likely to rival the grand finale. There are going to be some very special guests including a wing man [woman] for Ryan in the form of this years Oscar presenter Ellen Degeneres. Not only that, but the Idols will be getting some coaching from one of the recording industry's biggest names, Bono from the Irish mega-group
U2.
It's going to be a massive show with some cool stuff about how we can all play a part in having a positive effect on poverty and poor living standards in both Africa and at home in the United States.
Before we get into tonight's show though, let's quickly recap last nights performances.
Chris Richardson sang
Change the World
Melinda Doolittle sang

Blake Lewis sang

Lakisha Jones sang

Phil Stacey sang

Jordin Sparks sang

Now, this weeks polls. How are things looking according to your votes on idolblog.com?
Now that Sanjaya has been sent home there should be a significant change as he had an overwhelming majority of people wanting to see the back of him. Phil Stacey comes in in third place on 19%. In second place is Chris Richardson on 26% but Lakisha is by far the most preferred to be sent home on 40% of the vote.
In the "Who is everyone's favourite Idol" poll this week, Jordin Sparks takes out the top spot and extends her lead out to 41%. Melinda Doolittle has second place sewn up on 26% while Blake Lewis takes third on 13%.
Now, who are the bottom three as predicted by the polls?
Chris Richardson is in third lowest place on 8%. Lakisha Jones is in second place on 6% but Phil Stacey takes out the bottom spot with 5%.
When it comes to the DialIdol results, third lowest place belongs to Blake Lewis (20.54%). Second lowest belongs to a surprizing Melinda Doolittle (20.11%) while the bottom place belongs to Chris Richardson (18.1%). Phil Stacey takes the second place behind Jordin Sparks who remains on top while Lakisha Jones comes in third.
So who is going home tonight? Stick around and find out. The results are just around the corner.
Rumor also has it that 80 million votes were cast last night and that it's going to be Chris Richardson who is going home.
